Good weekend was had by Stevie Hansgen this weekend. Caught up with old friends, met some new people, etc. anyways, this post might be super lame to some of you so bear with me or just feel free to stop reading at anytime. So I was reading in my journal the other day and I was laughing so hard because some of the things I wrote about I remembered thinking “holy crap! I will never get over this!!” or “ahh Id rather die than have to deal with this” and now looking back on it, they all were such small stupid things that I obviously got over and am now breathing and I'm okay now! But this all just made me think about how little stuff that people did in elementary school, jr high and high school were such big deals and now no one remembers and if they do, we are all over it. Its such a better place to be when youre happy with who you are, what youre doing and who youre trying to be. I'm glad that I was able to overcome the stupid relationship drama, the friendship crap and all the things in between. I'm thankful for the many people in my life who have given and will continue giving me extra chances to make my wrongs right again. Goodnight and have a happy Sunday !

hmm... much younger? not so much. i dont know why but i only really got to know people that were like a year younger then me in school. bummer. but i have older friends from work, school, friends of friends etc. having friends that were older was never something that was hard for me. meh thats all.

SO REAL! ive experimented, tried new things, done stupid stuff the whole 9 yards... but i cannot deny that it has saved me more than once. God has made me handle things that i have struggled with times a billion, but he knew i could handle it. i know that because of the church, i wont ever have to fully know the word alone, feels like. ive never been so sure of anything in my life.

so the other day im getting off work and usually on my way home i will call my parents and let them know if im coming home, or going to hang out with friends or whatever, well this particular night (monday?) i called and my dad casually answers and tells me that they are out eating and i say uhhh everyone but me? and he says ... yeah sorry. ahhh i didnt like them for a minute. anyways i told my dad that the only way i would forgive them all is to write me a list of things they love about me... hahaha so this is what i fould last night hanging on the fridge.... hahahaha oh i love my family!!!

mudders day
mothers day was great. im not 100% finished with my present for my mom (its taking longer then expected) but im trying. work this week was insane and my feet are still hating me for their pain and suffering. but it all is over now and back to a normal schedule. while at work on saturday i made my mother this arrangement and she loved it! so it was a pre-mothers day gift from myself and kind of the father.
the actual day went well too! we hung out with the family and my grandpa came home from the hospital to be with us for a few hours but had to go back, bummer! but good news, i got a new job! well an additional job. i know i know i was going to take a break for the summer... hahah but you know me, i have to stay busssy!!! but i am going to be a receptionist for a hair salon called Kami Hair. its going to be sweet im excited to start! anyways, im off to slumber, nighty nighttt!

If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? I would love to be able to make all of the friends I have and have had in the past to get together and just hang out. Foods a must, old-new tunes and just to be able to talk to everyone without judgment to what we were or anything like that! Like we would be just happy to see each other again! That’s what I'm hoping my high school reunions are like…
If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint? Ugrhhh my old house. Everything about it I loved. I didn’t realize how much I loved it until we moved. I love our new house a ton! But I grew up in that old house so its just all the memories and everything that were made their mean so much!
If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Hmmm. Like the girl before me, she said 28. I think that it’s a good age because youre settling down and it seems like an age people are starting to see their hard word pay off and they’re happy with who they are.

If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint? Ugrhhh my old house. Everything about it I loved. I didn’t realize how much I loved it until we moved. I love our new house a ton! But I grew up in that old house so its just all the memories and everything that were made their mean so much!
If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Hmmm. Like the girl before me, she said 28. I think that it’s a good age because youre settling down and it seems like an age people are starting to see their hard word pay off and they’re happy with who they are.
If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently? Be with my family and close friends. Just enjoy the life I live even more then I do now.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? That’s so hard… there are so many people who have motivated me to be better each day but I most likely would choose my mother. Shes so helpful and loving. I hope I'm awesome like she is one day.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? I wish I would have made even better girl friends then I did. I wish I had a close group of girlfriends we did everything with. I never really had a bunch it was always 2 or 3.

Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? Holy cow, I cannot even begin to tell you how I keep having to remind myself that in the end of the messes I get into or sadness that happens, I am ALWAYS happier after! Unanswered prayers are so good for everyone!
What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to? The Cinco de Mayo party I threw last year was pretttty sweet! I also loved my graduation party my mother did for me! J
What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? Haha Lost…
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Finding out who my true friends are and realizing that MY habits were some of the problem in a lot of struggles I have had in life.
What was the last experience that made you a stronger person? This last school year. Working and going to school full time has been really hard for me but I'm super glad ive been able to do it and understand a little bit about what hard work really is.
What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Lying. Being too loud. Standing up for myself when I could have let things go. Not taking things seriously.
When was the last time you had an amazing meal? Tucci’s the other night was super good!!

What do you miss most about being a kid? no responsibilities and just seeing the happy in everything without having to think about it!

 It's like every single life is being played out inside its own tiny, little bubble, Stevie. Floating effortlessly in the wind, alongside billions and billions of other bubbles. Yet interestingly enough, while it's quite easy to peer inside other bubbles and notice what is or is not happening there, what they do and do not have, comparing to the point of envy or gloating, it's equally easy to notice, though so few do, that all of the bubbles are floating home, where everyone is equally worthy, important, and celebrated. xxoo, The Universe P.S. universe
so i cant remember if i have blogged about this before but i get emails monday and friday from the universe. it sounds weird but its actuallly really cool! if you go to this website you sign up, it asks you a few questions and you decide when you want them and what your life goals are, your strengths and weaknesses and then it personalizes them for you. some of my friends have done it and we have gotten some of the same ones sent to us but i have loved getting them! i get them mondays to start my day and week off right and then fridays for a good weekend. i love getting them! this is one i got last week that i really liked and i hope you all enjoy! happy 1st week of May everybody!
