im going to be late for school because im writing this. ha. oh well im not in the mood to go to school. my friday only classes whomp.  anyways, so i am so sad that one of my alltime best friends is going to holland in a few days. dont get me wrong, SO EXCITED for her. but im being selfish and wanting her not to leave. shes my backyard neighbor, our houses butts touch and ill miss when its warm and i can just call her and we can meet at the fence and talk about silly things. i love her so much. anyways, tonight we are going to California Pizza Kitchen to celebrate her leaving, wish her well blah blah blah. so excited i cant decide what im going to eat!! cade is going there for the first time ever and i love going places to eat where people havent ever been. its like, super exciting :) and i just decided what im going to get!

P.s cade and i exchanged valentines day presents. hahahah we get too excited about what we get each other so then we just give them to eachother right we we get them! hahaha and i think ive finally found a friend/boyfriend who can top my presents (no offense to anyone but i give damn good presents i put so much thought into them and sometimes you can tell when someone just throws some shit together. lame.) anyways he got me these wayyyy cool earrings. love love love. all i got him were two american apparel shirts and a jacket from zumiez. oh well. he'll look stunning in them :) and he said he has a super fun date in mind.. we will see how it goes :) adios. i guess ill show up late toclass... yet again. jk i am never late. k bye

25. What are your favorite lyrics from a song played by your favorite band/singer/artist?

so hard to choose an absolute. I can never just pick one thing I love. Which is funny because I get bugged when people say they dont have favorites. I'm thinking, “okay idiot I know you like one thing more then the other you just need to think about it long enough…” well yeah I don’t like thinking about it. But this post will make someone very happy J (connor martin) he introduced me to one of my all time favorite bands. The Avett Brothers. Their style of music is what I love., meaningful lyrics, guitar-y/instrument-y kind of thing. Some people think you have to love a slow song for it to have “deep” or “inspirational” lyrics. And quite frankly, I say bullshit.  Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise. (awesome music video, watch watch watch!!!) One of my favorite quotes is from the song is a simple phrase but super meaningful...

day 24. a thought you've had this past week.

okay this is totally going to offend every single person that reads my blog. im warning you now, you dont have to read this. and you can think im completely messed up in the head for thinking this way but you cant be mad at anyone but yourself for reading this... moving right along. its super hilarious that this was a topic today with cade and i and we both feel the exact same so hate him and after this. but not really. okay, im just going to give it to you straight. i hate that going to  other countries to help them out is becoming the latest "trend" like its the new chanel, or juicy or whatever the hell the fads are today. dont get me wrong i think service is awesome coming in any way, shape of form. but can people not open their doors and eyes and see that right here in the United States we have poverty? people without shelter, food, water? people who cant read? speak english? dont have parents who love and care for them? you can find almost everything that youre going to get in Africa, Guatemala, Mexico, India, Ecuador and wherever else right here. And probably not even 5 minutes in both directions of your house non-the-less. once again wherever youre helping people out is your thing but i think people should notice all the awesome opportunities you have right outside your house to help those in need.

ps-i follow a girls blog and she posted these pictures once and i saved them on my computer because i loved them so much. the first time i read them and actually sat and thought about what they meant, it was a huge awakening to me. complaining is comfortable, and hopefully while youre reading this it makes you uncomfortable and realize that we all need to have a better understand of how bad life really could be.

so many great ones come to mind when i think of my favorite! but i guess if i have to pick one, and one only it would be if i ever leave this world alive. i love flogging molly but this song stands out of the rest of their songs because of the simplicity and the short, simple words that are sung. love it. this song has been on when i get in the shower, got ready, and while im driving around it comes on often because i like it that way. i cant he;p but smile when i listen to it :) enjoy

oh. speaking of the weekend... ahhaha i am so excited. im going to be slammed with things to do. and fun things at that! im going to the sundance film festival in park city. (a tradish) cade's never been so im ropin him in with me on this one. and then later that night we are going to the x-dance. its also a film festival but for things like snowboarding, kayacking, mountain biking, surfint et cetera. im so excited. these are the movies we have tickets to go see...

off to grandmothers. i love being with my family on sundays. its a day when everyones home, having fun and enjoying each others company. and if you're a Hansgen, sunday's also means catch-up-on-sleep day. seriously. we all are so busy, dad with a full time job, mother with her full time plus a part time job, ely with a job, baseball and all ap and honors classes, sam with a little side job, basketall, futsol and soccer and myself. two jobs, full time student, and lots of hanging out in the late hours of the night. all of this makes us run on thin string all week and sunday we come home, snack and nap for hours and hours. i love it. but today im going to gmas and being with extended family is always so wonderful. i know i say this a lot but my heart seriously is so full with all the love from others i recieve on a daily basis.

super faint. love it. its more rustic and vintagey and i love it! its not strong but its enough to feel like you smell excellent! 

2. Viva la Juicy

i love this one! im not big on the Juicy brand, but i like this smell. its super feminine and fruity. i wear it on more fancy occations.

3. Ed Hardy Perfume.

believe me- i hate ed hardy too, but this is one of my all time favorite purfumes. love it! it works everytime and i always get compliments on how good i smell when i wear it.

4. Vera Wang-Princess

 

one of my first ones and i love it! it reminds me of jenna russle cause we both had it and wore it and everyone wanted to use some when we were on frill together.

day 21

day 13. take a picture of the contents of your purse. explain if needed.

(side notes... first off, i am more horrible about writing in my blog lately. times a thousand. so i need to get better. second-i need to finish this 30 day challenge before 2016.... at the rate im going not likely... and third of all i am not takin g apictue of the shit in my purse. not necessary and sorry for the language)

anyways....

1. camera-i like to document things. 2. phone- duh..
3. chapstick-there is nothing. i repeat NOTHING worse then being stuck somewhere without chapstick when you need it. therefore i nip that one in the butt and just bring it on along.
4. ipod- i have one of those ipod hook-ups for my car but i dont like leaving the ipod just chillin in the cold, or hot, or what have you. so if i drove that night slash day, i have it in my car. or sometimes when other friends drive and they have crappy music i bring it along... so spare myself from their tastes in music.
5. wallet/clutch thingy-love it. adorable. recently new. and i love it. carries necessary cards, coupons, punch-cards, gift cards, etcetera.
6. gum-sometimes. dependsing on if mother slips one in for me or i go by it. you never know when the breaths gonna take a turn for the worst, right?
7. lotion- yanno thoe super cute, little, purse size containers from bath and body, or the hemp ones? yean i always have one with me. i love how its a fainter smell then purfume. sometimes when you need to freshen up, its nice to put on lotion. rather then spray another squirt or two on you and people are like woah, who sprayed something? not okay.


anyways. not a fun purse at all. people always make fun of me cause they are like uh.. why do you even carry a pure. cause all the stuff i listed above is like, the most stuff i would ever have in there. usually on a normal, average day/night i usually only have my wallet, phone and chapstick. the other things are like oh i should grab that or whatever. i just dont like carrying a purse around usually so i dont bring them unless i need to/should.

so for the past few monthes or so i will go and sit down at our desk and go to weite somehting, and i swear to everything holy that i grab this pen. the same pen that didnt write well the last ba-gillion times i used it. so finally i threw it  away. and im proud of it.

day 20

20. 5 things that gross you out.

1. zits that are white. like, ready to burst status.  when i see one, i honestly want to just pop it. i would rather see red then sick grossssey white. bluh.....
2. bloody meat.  chicken doesnt bug me and neither does turkey. but steak and hamburger and whaatever other kinds arent too appealing to me to just see them chillin on the counter. i dont like it, but ive never been a hugggeee fan of red meat anyway so there.
3. cottonballs. i cant talk about them or my encounters with them because just saying the word gives me goosebumps. i cant even touch them. everyone in hair school makes fun of me cause we always have to use them and i cant ever get my own from dispence because they give me goosebumps. yeah i have them right now. moving on please...
4. soggy anything. like cake when for whatever reason it gets wet. or when you have a sink with dishes and the food gets soggy. seriously gagggg  me. i hate that. so bad. its so gross an djust looking at it i can imagine the AWFULLLL texture it has in my mouth. ewe.
5. when people talk and have exces spit.  i hate this. when youre talking to someone and they have spit or whatever around their teeth and stuff i just want to interupt them and say SWALLLLOOOWWW! i cant even pay attention to people who deal with that issue when theyre talking to me cause all i can do it stare at them.
